Food Card

This program was developed for people in a situation of social vulnerability, who present grave health problems and need specific food, according to their physician’s prescription.

With the Food Card, which is charged with credit on a monthly basis, the beneficiaries can purchase their food in supermarkets. The cards vary in value, which is established through a study carried out by Ten Yad social workers, and reviewed every semester.

Moreover, those who benefit from the Food Card program also receive socio-educational guidance, the Basic Cleaning Kit, the Personal Hygiene Kit, vacations for children and grandchildren at the Day Camp and at Nazaré Paulista, amongst other advantages.
