Instituição Beneficente Israelita Ten Yad is one of the most renowned entities that dedicate themselves to combat hunger in Brazil. Founded in 1992 and performing in the State of S. Paulo, it distributes more than 700 tons of food per year, through programs of food security, programs of promotion and social inclusion, and two governmental partnerships, one with the State and another with the City Hall of S. Paulo.


In 20 years of existence, Ten Yad was awarded with several prizes such as the Bem Eficiente Award, granted by Kanitz & Associates to the most outstanding institutions in the country; the Betinho Award, granted by the city council, which appoints the best social programs of the capital of S. Paulo, the 2005 Citizenship Prize, granted by PNBE (National Thought of the Entrepreneurs’ Foundation), and is one of the few welfare institutions in Brazil to hold the ISO 9001:2008 certificate, which attests the quality in all of the procedures and controls of the meals offered.


Due to the dedication and care of the volunteers, employees and supporters, Ten Yad renders the lives of thousands more dignified and fair, offering not only nutritious meals, but also much human warmth.
